Established in 1981 Govt. Degree College Rajouri is located at a small beautiful plateau at village Kheora, 3 1/2 kilometers to the North-East of Rajouri town. The college campus presents a picturesque view in the backdrop of snow capped Pir Punjjal Mountains in the North, Dhani Dhar Fort a monument in the East. In the West lies the brimming riverine of Darhali Tawi. Historic Rajouri Town lies in the south. Tall poplar trees, bordering the entire campus lend grandeur and glory to it. The college campus being away from the main town is pollution free and ideal for pursuing studies. The building, lawns and play grounds of the College are spread over an area of 100 kanals.
